Since Tuesday 12th November a number of horrific and inhumane events have befallen me.
The second worst event was being subjected to the most inhumane and degrading conditions you can imagine in Fisherwick Chess Club on Monday night. Unfortunately I no longer have a video camera available to capture the scene, people will probably not believe what I am about to disclose.
Five boards where set up in the most unbelievably cramped space, plus there was no heat in the place! I actually had to climb over a sofa to get in and out of my seat!
The author of the Fisherwick Chess Club website will most likely try and say I am making this all up just because I suffered a defeat. This is nonsense, there is far more room in a police cell in Musgrave street Police Station than there is in Fisherwick Chess Club.
I can only suggest that Michael Waters and the rest of the Fisherwick gang re-locate to Musgrave police station and play all their remaining fixtures there. It would be a 1000% improvement on the present situation.
